It has a good heft and feels very solid. The one I received was a somewhat darker tone than the picture (more of a dark chocolate shade), but some variation is to be expected with a product made from natural materials and the darker shade is quite attractive. The bowl is a good size! It is all one piece (the bowl does not come off) so there's no worry about knocking it off.I use a candle lighter, but if you're trying to use a cigarette lighter it might be hard to light the tea light. The cavity inside has a lip that would make it difficult to light the candle and then push it inside without burning yourself (however, this lip would be useful to contain hot wax spills so it is not a bad thing). If you have a candle lighter or long matches, no problem, the opening in the back is good and wide. When I was browsing diffusers, I saw this one and it called my name! And when I got it, I was not disappointed.
