Myrrh was one of the most popular aromatics of ancient times. It was widely used in incense and perfumes, and Egyptians not only used it as a cosmetic, but as an offering during sun worship at Heliopolis every day at noon. It has a musky, balsamic aroma. This essential oil is 100% pure.
Suggested Use: For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive or almond oil prior to use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios.
Warning: Always dilute before any use other than aromatherapy. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. If pregnant or lactating, consult a practitioner before use. Not for internal use.

(Health and Beauty) I'm just starting to make my own [all natural] health products and this is the first time I've used essential oils. This smelled exactly like I thought it should, like other Myrrh products I've used before, and is full strength stuff so dilute it down before using. I put a drop of this on my hand straight out of the bottle to smell it and I could still smell it the next day and after many hand-washings. It didn't really bother me since I like how it smells but it gives you an idea of the concentration. They really mean 100% pure. |
